President's Biography

Raised in Cleveland, Bruce was educated at The Ohio State University, served as an advance combat field medic with the United States Army, and commenced his investigative career in 1982. 

Before creating BKA, Bruce was Vice-President of one of the largest privately held international firms of its kind specializing in corporate litigation issues, international brand protection, risk management, and associated business consulting operating throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. 

Since 1982, Bruce has conducted and supervised more than 12,000  investigations, both nationally and internationally, pertaining to intellectual property infringement, product diversion, complex business litigation, arson, wrongful death, personal injury, financial fraud, theft of trade secrets and property, employment contract violations, environmental litigation, workers' compensation fraud, and family law.  

Over the years, Bruce developed an expertise for developing business operational systems and security procedures which were utilized to turn around failing companies and created internal procedural processes designed to eliminate fraud, employee theft, and protect intellectual property through extensive consultations to both privately held and publicly traded companies.

In recent years, he has also designed exclusive residential security systems and family monitoring/safety procedures for some of Columbus’ most prominent families.

Bruce is on the Board of Directors of the Columbus Claims Association; a 75 year old central Ohio association dedicated to insurance issues, a lecturer to legal counsel attending Bar Association seminars, a published author pertaining to investigative issues, and a trainer to local, state, and federal law enforcement on issues pertaining to intellectual property investigation.
